S. Barbara 2 agrivoltaic plant in Scalea

With a planned capacity of 7.99 MWp, S. Barbara 2 is the second agrivoltaic initiative being delivered in Scalea. NESS S.p.A. Società Benefit is involved in construction activities on behalf of the Group.

Structures being installed

The 13 July 2026 inspection documents a site that has reached the structural phase. Supports are distributed across several parts of the area and define the future row layout. The photographs do not yet document completion of module installation or commissioning.

Agrivoltaic layout

The field geometry maintains functional corridors and distances between the structures. This is central to agrivoltaic plants, where energy components must be coordinated with access, maintenance and land management.

Progress monitoring

Site inspections make it possible to compare completed work, site organisation and scheduled phases. Future updates will clearly distinguish module installation, completion of construction and commissioning.
